WORK VISIT : Chairman of Commission III DPRD Central Kalimantan Duwel Rawing accompanied by BBS President Director Hasan Muldhani visit the BBS production base in Subang, West Java

August 5, 2020

BBS MEDIA Subang, 04/08 – In order to develop business and participation in infrastructure development in Central Kalimantan, PT. Berkah Beton Sadaya (BEBS:IDX) is actively carrying out technical and non-technical preparations.

One of the initiatives is inviting Drs. Duwel Rawing, the former regent of Katingan for two periods from 2003-2008 and 2008-2013, who is currently serving as Chairman of Commission III DPRD of the provincial Parliament of Central Kalimantan,

The invitation to the company’s production base located in Subang West Java was intended to directly ask for his suggestions and seek his advice regarding the company’s infrastructure and development that is in place, in order to meet the needs of infrastructure development in the region. On the arrival of Drs. Duwel Rawing on August 4, 2020, he was requested to review the Stone Quarry and Batching Plant as well as the fleet and production equipment owned by BEBS.

BEBS is an industrial supporting infrastructure company that produces ready mix concrete, precast, lightweight concrete, asphalt, and hot mix with the best quality that has been used in infrastructure development for office buildings and toll roads in West Java and JABODETABEK.

The initial planning stages for expansion to Central Kalimantan have been carried out over the years. This has been achieved by securing a Stone Quarry covering an area of 150 ha in the district of Katingan with a potential granite content of 45 million MT, and 135 ha in the Katingan Hilir with a potential stone content of 25 million MT and sand granite of 35 million MT.

After hearing from the Board of Directors, the Central Kalimantan figure hopes that the company's good intentions will quickly be realized, so that the prices of supporting infrastructure materials will not be too expensive and will be supported well by the community. Concurrently it is important to note that the current need for split stone and concrete is being imported from South Kalimantan, and the distance of transportation makes prices high and expensive for construction.

“Expansion to Central Kalimantan is likely to be carried out no later than the end of this year,” commented Director of BBS, Mr. Hasan Muldhani during the visit. (BBS Media)
